920 Yonge Street
Toronto, ON, M4W 3C7. Steps from Rosedale subway, on the east side of Yonge.
Monday to Sunday, 8:00a to 5:00p.
Specialty drinks, bakes, takeaway.
Toronto, Rosedale & North York
A specialty coffee bar pursuing minimalism and quiet creativity, two locations on Yonge Street, open every day.
Pull a Vanilla Drop Latte. Wait for the foam to settle. The Basque cheesecake comes out of the oven at noon, and goes by 4.
By evening the room thins out. Last pour is five sharp at Rosedale, seven up in North York. We are still here.
A house style
Coffee Lunar pursues minimalism and simplicity, while continuously seeking creativity inside the cup. The bar opens at eight, the espresso machine is warm by quarter past, and the first Vanilla Drop Latte is usually pulled before the rush starts on Yonge.
Two locations now: the original at 920 Yonge in Rosedale, and a second room at 6040 Yonge in North York. Both are small. Both are quiet. Both serve the same drinks list, the same Basque cheesecake, the same stillness.
Industrial chill vibe, cute latte art, and a Basque cheesecake worth the trip. The pistachio latte is a must.
